9.13.2011 I havent really done a blog in about 9 months because I couldnt really fit any of my clothes since I was pregnant, but I had my baby boy 3 weeks ago, and Im starting to get back in the swing of things!

Annie & Isabel Hospital Gown

On August 25th 20ll I gave birth to a handsome baby boy! During my hospital stay I wore this gorgeous gown from Annie and Isabel called "The Susan" This gown was so great because it allowed me to be fashionable and feel good while I was there! I was able to walk around the hospital without my "behind" showing because the tie that is on the gown covered my entire body. When the nurses came to do my vitals, my arms were free! As you can see in one of the pictures below I was also able to breast feed my son because the easy access buttons on the shoulder allowed me to do so! This gown also has a pocket on the side in case you would like to hold things close to you! I got so many compliments in the hospital from my nurses, everyone LOVED IT! Im not Fat Im Pregnant...

Today I am 35 weeks and 2 days pregnant! I hadnt realized how big I got until I put on my jeans! They are actually very tight lol but Tj and I were going on a date and I wanted to actually DRESS today! Silly me trying to me cute! HA. We went ot the movies and saw Friends with Benefits and it was actually a good movie! This was probably our last movie date until after Jaiden is born!

Pregnancy Photoshoot

So far my pregnancy has been a breeze, as I write this post I am 26 weeks pregnant but in this photoshoot I was 22 or 23 weeks I believe. Ive only been sick 2-3 times throughout the whole 6 months, and Ive gained about 17-18 pounds. It seems a lot to me but everytime I tell someone Im 6 months they say "oh thats it? your carrying good, you look small" and my doctor doesnt seem to concerned about my weight. Ive gained MAINLY in my stomach, and a little in my butt, thighs, hips and arms (to me ate least) Oh and my boobs!!! They are HUGE lol and they wont stop growing! Im not toooo worried though because I know it will all be worth it once my little man Jaiden Taylor Davidson is born!

Hey everyone I havent blogged in FOREVER, I always seem to make one blog, take a few months off and then blog again but I am going to try and blog more often especially since Ill be out of school for the summer in 2 weeks!! But anyway Im sure you all know by now that I am pregnant and I am having a BABY BOY!!! He is due August 31, 2011, his name will be Jaiden Maurice..and I am too excited. I also am a little nervous because this is my first baby but I have soo much support and help that I know Ill be okay. Babies are a blessing and I am truly blessed and thankful for everything and every person in my life, I wouldnt change it for the world! As for my life, I am almost done with this semester and Ill be taking 2 classes during the summer, and one is online so it shouldnt be too bad and my last semester of college will end this december! I cant wait to graduate and walk across that stage! And its even more exciting to know my baby boy will be there to see me walk. I am such a happy pregnant person, I am not grumpy, tired and havent been sick or anything, Ive been very energetic and EVERYONE says Im glowing! So Im thankful for having an easy pregnancy so far and I hope it continues to be like that! Anyway, Below are ultrasound pictures of my son and that was back when I was 16 weeks pregnant, I am currently 21 weeks and 5 days pregnant today so Im sure hes much bigger and has more fat on his body! And the last pictures are of Tj and I at his track meet, who do u think our son will look more like? Me? Tj? or a mixutre? Well see come August 31st..or before!

Boy Or Girl??

Hey everyone so I believe you all now know that I am expecting. I am due on September 1st, I am 13 weeks and 5 days today and I find out the sex of my baby in 26 days!!! on March 26th, wooo hooo! I cant wait! As some of you know I have a STRONG feeling that my baby will be a girl! Dont ask me why, thats just my gut feeling! Tj thinks its a girl as well and all of my family believe I will have a girl to! If I have a boy I will LOVE him and be just as excited! I have taken about 5 online gender prediction test and all but one said I would have a girl! Below are a few "old wives tales" and things to help you guys with your guess! here goes:

You had morning sickness early in pregnancy.-I had morning sickness!
Your baby's heart rate is at least 140 beats per minute.-My babys heart is usually between 160-170
You are carrying the weight in your hips and rear.-I cant really tell, youll have to look at the pic below or my videos to see!
Your left breast is larger than your right breast.-My left breast IS larger than the right
Your hair develops red highlights.-I dont have red highlights, not to my knowledge lol
You are carrying high.-Not sure yet
Your belly looks like a watermelon.-Not sure yet
You are craving sweets.-YESSS i want icecream, cake, popscicles, candy
You are craving fruit.-WATERMELON!! my fave
You crave orange juice.-I do!!
You don't look quite as good as normal during pregnancy.-well this one can be wrong cuz I think i still look good! haha

Your urine is a dull yellow color.-My pee is VERY dull, almost clear sometimes! lol

You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived and the sum is an odd number.-21+22=33 SOO another point for girl!

Other tales
The Mayan tale adds the mothers age at conception and the year of conception. If the result is a even number then mom is having a girl. If the result is an odd number then a boy is on the way! According to this, we are having a girl.-21+2010=2031 soo according to this Im having a boy!

The eye test is when a “V” or “branches” appear when you pull down the skin under your left eye. If you see a “V” or “branches” in the white part, you’re having a girl. I have a “V”, so one more point for a girl.-I do have V branches in my left eye soo maybe a girl??

If your legs get really big, you’re having a boy. If your legs stay in shape and lean, it’s a girl. I think it’s too early for me to tell on this one.-My lefts have stayed the same, there in shape soo another point for girl!

If the pregnant woman is graceful throughout her pregnancy, she’s having a girl. If she becomes clumsy, she’s having a boy-According to this Ill be having a handsome boy because I am HELLA clumsy lol

If a toddler boy expresses interest in a pregnant woman, she is having a girl. If he doesn’t show interest, she’s having a boy. -I will DEFINITELY have a girl because lil toddler boys at work ALWAYS show me attention, little girls not soo much lol

If the dad-to-be gains weight while you are pregnant, it’s a girl. If he doesn’t gain weight, you’re having a boy. So far Tarzan has lost a couple of pounds (while eating ice cream), so maybe a boy is what we’re having.-Girl again, TJ hasnt gained any weight

When the pregnant woman is asked to show her hands, it’s a boy if she keeps her palms down and a girl if she shows her palms up. -lol GIRL again I showed my hands palm up!

71% of the time, the mom-to-be knows what she is having.-I feel like its a girl!!

Are your feet colder now that you are pregnant? If so, you just might be having a boy. If your feet have stayed the same before pregnancy and during, you’re having a little girl.-My feet have stayed the same, soo another point for girl

If your hands are constantly dry, it’s a boy-well my hands are ALWAYS dry lol sooo well say Boy for this one

It is said that when you can only think of specific names for a boy or a girl, you will have that particularly baby.-Well Tj and I can only agree on a baby girl name sooo yet another point for girl!

*This stuff is just for fun lol but MOST of them say Girl, but who knows I can end up having a boy! We will see on March 26th!! But keep Guessing until then*

My Camera

Hey everyone, I get a few questions from people asking me what kind of camera I use to take my pictures and even though its in the information box on the side of my blog, I decided to post an actual blog showing my actual camera and talk a little bit about it! The camera that I have is the Canon Rebel xs. Its a very good beginner camera for people just getting into photography like myself! I just got the camera this year and I LOVE it. For christmas my parents bought me a photography set, that includes, 2 back drops, and 2 professional strobe lighting umbrella kits. I havent used it yet but I cant wait to set it up! I also got a new lense for my camera, its the Canon EFS55-250mm and I have to say I looovve it, its amazing, it zooms in pretty far and has much better focus than the lense that it actually came with. I bought my camera from best buy, but Im sure you can find it pretty much anywhere online. Anyway I took some pictures below so you can see how great the camera takes pictures. Nicki Minaj MAC Pink Friday Lipsticks

I purchased Nicki Minaj pink friday the day it came out which was on Black Friday! It is only available online for 4 consecutive fridays! You can check out my youtube channel for my review on it, but below are picutres of some of my favorite pink lipsticsk that kind of remind me of Pink Friday.

From Right to left the colors are as follows: Love lorn, Pink Friday, Up the amp, Snob, Fabby and girl about town. (girl about town is not similar to Pink Friday its just one of my favorite pink lipsticks)

The Swatches from right to left are as follows: Snob, Pink Friday, up the amp, Love Lorn, Fabby. I think that SNOB is almost identical to pink friday!

Review:Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

Hey everyone I recently purchased Nars Sheer Glow Foundation from Sephora and this is my first time every using Nars products. I used it for about 4 days now and I think I have enough of an opinion to do a review on it. The colors that the lady at Sephora tried on me were Tahoe and Cadiz (med/dark3) and the Tahoe ended up looking toooo orange on me and the Cadiz was perfect so I bought that one. I usually use MAC studio fix foundation and I am a NC45 (though sometimes that looks orange on me to during the winter). But anywho,here are the PROS: I think that I really like the NARS foundation, it looks really nice on, it doesnt look like its too much, it doesnt look cakey, its really smooth and though its the "glow" foundation it dries like a matte so I dont have to put and powder foundation over it like I do with the MAC foundation. It does actally give me a glow like look as well which is a plus. It last allll day long, it doesnt wipe off on my clothes like my usualy makeup does. The bottle is very cute and classy! The CONS: I would have to say its a little pricey, I purchased it for $42 dollars, and the bottle is kinda small for that price, but I guess since it is such a good foundation I can see why its that much. I dont really like the fact it doesnt have a pump and its just a pour out bottle, I think NARS should change that asap. UMM I think thats about the only thing I dont like about it! Despite the negative reviews I read on it, I would have to say I personally like this foundation and I would definently purchase it again!

MY ORIGINIAL IDEAS
So I I decided to get this tattoo because I wanted a tattoo that was meaningful to me. At first I wanted to get "Carpe Diem" which means "Seize the Day" but I'd rather have something in english. Soooo I thought about getting "Live for the Moment" or "live in the moment" or something around those means but then I found out that my little sister who I do not live with has "Live in the Present" tattooed on her and I didn't want to get the same thing. My next idea was getting my moms birthday in roman numerals, but I changed my mind because being how I am getting my tattoo in the same spot that Rihanna has her roman numerals I didn't want to be a jock. SO THEN I thought about getting my moms name "Cora" but then I realized that I have my dad, and my two step parents who would probably get jealous or feel some type of way about me not getting there names so I changed my mind AGAIN. So I went to sleep and I woke up at 3:00 o'clock in the morning and said "Love Conquers All" thats what I will get! Now I thought about getting it in latin which is "omnia vincit amor" but I dont speak latin so that was a no go.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT SPOT?

I chose my shoulder/neck area because I thought it would look sexy right there, I had to think a lot about that spot because if i wear formal dresses it may be seen and what not, but I figured well I have derma blend so it can be covered especially if it covered my other big ass tattoo! lol I first saw this tattoo placement on Rihanna so I guess its safe to say I got the spot from her, but don't be like "ohhh you copied her" I didn't COPY her. So if someone gets a tattoo on there shoulder does that mean they copied everyone else who has a tattoo there? NO I didn't think so!

Anyway the reason for me getting "Love Conquers All" is because I feel like it actually does. The basic meaning of it is that love is stronger than any other force, if you have love than you can get over any problems. Now you typically wouldn't understand this if you've never been in love. I just think that if two people love each other they can overcome any obstacle that comes their way. Its not just for couples either, its anyone or anything, if you love a friend then that friendship will be there no matter how much you guys argue or bicker because of the fact that love is strong enough to keep you friendship alive! I think I would have to say that TRUE love conquers all but I couldn't fit all of that on my shoulder lol. Okay so I know theres people out there that are thinking well how can love conquer all when theres divorces and separations and what have you well many people mistake love for lust, and end up marrying someone because maybe the sex was good, or for another reason and then later on you realize that you didn't really love that person so that can be one reason. Another reason is not having enough love, if you don't have love then how is it suppose to conquer?? People separate because they think its easier to walk away from a problem rather than fixing it. Love just doesn't stay on its own and many people don't understand that. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love is truthful. It always protects, always trusts, and always hopes. If you don't put forth effort than love will die. Im no marriage therapist but these are just my beliefs lol! But don't worry if my thoughts ever change about this, (which I doubt it will) I can just go to the tattoo shop and get a line through conquers lol! jk jk

Today is Saturday, July 10, 2010 all I had to do today was go to work. If you are a frequent viewer of my youtube videos you ma know that I work at a girls clothing store called Dots.
